Because.
Biddeheaven endeavors to shine a little light upon the things that make our lives worth living. We love art & design — we’ll stop the car for a good piece of public art, some progressive architecture, or even a tasteful bit of typography. We love books & writers — words are our water in a desert, we cherish them and, often, the people who create them. We love food & travel — what more really needs to be said about those two things?
And then there is our fair hamlet of Biddeford. What can we say?
Well, have you ever seen a small, dirty dog with some funky hair, maybe patches of it missing? And the dog is wearing one of those white cones from the vets around its neck? So, let’s say you’ve seen that. What do you do? You feel sorry for the little dog, right, and you say, “Hey there, fella,” and you reach out to pet it. And what does the damn dog do but bite your hand!?!?
Well, that dog is Biddeford.
But we love it anyway. And some days, it even curls up in our lap and tells us — in its subtle way — that it loves us, too.
